Cancellation & Refund Policy

Subscription Cancellation
You have full control over your subscription and can cancel at any time. Here's how it works:
How to Cancel:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Account → Membership tab
- Click "Manage Billing" to open the Stripe billing portal
- Select "Cancel Subscription"
What Happens When You Cancel:
- Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain access to all paid features until the end of the period you've already paid for
- No further charges will be made to your payment method
- After your billing period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan
- Your timelines and data are preserved (subject to Free plan storage limits)
Refund Policy
Standard Policy: We generally do not offer refunds for subscription fees. When you cancel during a billing period, you will not receive a prorated refund, but you will retain full access to paid features through the end of that billing period.
Why No Refunds: Our service delivers digital access immediately upon subscription, and the costs of providing the service are ongoing. By subscribing, you acknowledge this policy.
Exceptional Circumstances
We may consider refunds in the following situations:
- Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly or multiple times due to a technical error
- Service Outages: If the service was unavailable for an extended period
- Unauthorized Charges: If your account was compromised and charges were made without your authorization
To Request a Refund: Contact support@you-r-here.com with your account email, subscription details, and reason for the refund request. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are granted at our sole discretion.
Free Trial
If a free trial is offered:
- You can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged
- If you do not cancel, your payment method will be charged automatically when the trial period ends
- You will receive a reminder email before the trial ends
- No refunds are provided if you forget to cancel before the trial ends
Billing Cycle
Monthly Plans: Billed every month on the date you subscribed
Yearly Plans: Billed once per year on the date you subscribed
You will receive an email receipt each time you are charged.
Payment Method Updates
You can update your payment method at any time through the billing portal. If a payment fails:
- We will attempt to charge your payment method again
- You will receive email notifications about the failed payment
- If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be suspended
- Your account will revert to the Free plan after the billing period ends
Account Deletion vs. Cancellation
Cancellation: Ends your paid subscription but keeps your account and data active. You can resubscribe at any time.
Account Deletion: Permanently deletes your account and ALL data (timelines, messages, profile). This action cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, you should cancel it first to avoid being charged again.
